Pretty easy advice to be given. “Try to overcome!” But is it really so easy, so simple? I guess not. Whatever it is pain, tension, problem etc. it can’t be forgotten in a flick of a finger. It gets so deep that we just can’t turn around from it. It can’t be overcome that easily, as it is advised to. Instead the pain comes over and over again.
I don’t say that we should get all deeprooted and involved in it and make ourselves miserable. It would just let people to have pity on us, and that is just unacceptable. It’s the last thing to ask for, in my opinion. I’m totally root against it. But we should try to look at the bright side of it. Instead of feeling sorry for ourselves, we should consider ourselves lucky that we got to learn a valuable lesson. We should stand up with all our dignity and make our pain as the lever to move forward.
Being vulnerable is easy, but what we need to be is tough. I’m not sure if you would agree with me on this, but sometimes we can achieve greater things and find ourselves at the top just because of the pain. I’m not saying that this is gonna happen overnight, but with a strong mind set and intact focus everything is possible. If this is what being overcome means, then definitely I’m all for it. But if it says that we should forget about the pain, then, I’m sorry but I would have to agree to disagree!
My philosophy Don’t forget your pain. But don’t let your pain overpower you. Own it. Try to build your own strong dynasty over it. Overpower your pain to overcome it.
